![]() OCTOBER 4 2004
Kids day is October 5th. We need lots of help as we will have 229 kids that day. We have 18 stations to man ( or woman), plus we need greeters for the busses when they arrive at Frontier Village. Their job will be to hand out maps, answer questions and show them where to park the bus. They will be mostly 4th graders from neighboring towns, but a few will be from the Butler and Adrian Head Start. We have most of the stations covered, but the shoe repair shop is in question and the log cabins has not been assigned yet. Cider making will be short of help too. Meet in the office at 8:00am for a short set of instructions and the kids start arriving at 9:00. We all close down for lunch at 11:30 and back to work at 12:00. Most stations will be a 10 minute stop, but a few will be only 3 or 4 minutes. If you don't know what to tell the kids, make something up. (just kidding) The girls will have lunch fixed in the kitchen for the workers. A lot of the grounds was mowed yesterday, but no trimming done. Fred couldn't get close to anything with my old Massey. Ok you E mail guys, if you E mail something to our web site man (Kevin at webmaster) put "wmat ma" in the subject line or he will probably not open it. He is like all of us, we get too much unidentified mail. Oh yes, take a look a the site now! The calendar he added to the site is super! There is a great deal of information in it. See you the 5th.
