Rules For Classic And Antique Tractor Pull
1. TRACTORS: Antique - 1938 and older. Classic - 1939 - 1959.
ALL TRACTORS MUST BE STOCK EQUIPPED.
2. TIRES: No tires larger that 14.9 on antique row crop, 15.5 on classic row crop, 18.4 on all Wheatland type. No cut or radial tires allowed.
3. Tractors may pull once in only one class, with exception to rule 15 and 18.
4. WEIGHTS: NO add on weights (this includes wheel weights, on antique tractors). Classic factory weights allowed. 2 sets maximum.
5. FUEL: NO Fuel mixtures.
6. TRACTOR: must be stock RPM.
7. ENGINES: anyone proved to be using "HOT ENGINES" (crammed, stroked, ported, etc.) will be eliminated from the competition with the exception of cylinder boring that is common to straighten walls or clean up cylinders. If kept in moderation, it will be allowed.
8. DRAWBARS: if tractor is equipped with "stock drawbar" and it is adjustable, (it may be). If stock drawbar is not available, drawbar length may not be shorter than 18 inches from center of rear axle, to center of pin hole and may not exceed 20 inches in height.
9. ALL tractors must be properly equipped for each respective year and model.
10. ALL tractors must have gearing operable. NO LOCKED rear ends.
11. Tractors shall be stopped if front end rises higher than 18 inches. A device will be used to determine height. Wheely bars will be allowed. When bars touch the ground, the pull is over.
12. ALL tractors MUST pull in first gear.
13. Drivers must be at least 16 years of age. 15 years and younger will have to have written consent from a parent or guardian. Tractors will be operated in a safe manner at ALL TIMES. Drivers must be seated at all times.
14. Antique tractors may pull in both rubber and steel classes. Must weigh in on both rubber and steel.
15. As these are percent weight pulls, pulling out the gate doesn't distinguish winners. Therefore, "out the gate" tractors will re-pull and have the option of highest percentage. NOTE: The weight your tractor pulls is divided b the weight of tractor to find the percentage of pull.
16. FOUL or ABUSIVE language will be grounds for disqualification.
17. Alcoholic beverages WILL NOT BE ALLOWED on the grounds.
18. Mechanical problems DO NOT end pull. You will be allowed to pull at the end of the class.
